What is the safety clip on my cartridge?

Our inkjet printer cartridges, like HP and Lexmark printer cartridges, are shipped in a protective plastic clip. This may cause the cartridge to look like it won't fit inside your printer's cartridge carrier. Just remove the safety clip. After removing the clip, the cartridge will look the same as your original cartridge and should fit inside your printer.
